I interviewed women of different ages in the Banwan Village about personal conditions, village customs and legends, and their views on those customs and stories, then recorded their answers and reactions. In terms of sound processing, I intentionally added environmental sounds like train noise and ritual sounds to emphasize the affected women's voices or their difficulty being heard clearly in such an unavoidable "environment". As such, the audience cannot escape from such interference, and Bouyei women cannot be free from such an environment as well.
